Dear Elliot

This weekend I will be playing my first professional concert since my operation… and for the first time in almost three years I am genuinely looking forward to it! I cannot thank you enough for restoring me to full physical and musical ‘health’. I know that you are rather itinerant – but I hope you find somewhere suitable to hang this beautiful nineteenth century plate… an emblem of my infinite gratitude.
